Is there a problem with coffee?
Coffee producers, like most companies operating in the food production segment, must ensure that their products are of the highest quality and meet the changing trends in the world of coffee lovers. At the first stage, a coffee roaster in Sulashev was looking for a WMS class system to ensure the operation of warehouse logistics. Along with the development of the company, there was a need to implement an information solution that would optimize and speed up the production planning process, make it easier to take care of the highest possible quality of products, and allow you to quickly respond to changes in production parameters. The main task for the selected solution was monitoring and analysis of production processes in terms of productivity and quality. The system for the coffee roaster was to offer an innovative process and genealogy tracking module, as well as a fleet management module.
Qguar automation systems – from the moment of supply of raw materials to the release of the finished product
In 2005, Prima decided to implement Qguar WMS systems, and in 2013 continued cooperation with Quantum by implementing Qguar MES and Qguar APS systems at the enterprise.
Qguar MES is integrated with the company’s SAP ERP and SCADA systems. The integration of existing solutions allowed the company to have all the necessary information from the moment of supply of raw materials to the release of the finished product.

The benefits that were felt immediately after the launch of the system were improved safety and comfort. The simultaneous use of Qguar WMS, Qguar MES and Qguar APS allows for close interaction at all those levels of the company that are crucial for the production of quality products.
The operation of the systems allows to reduce the time of production planning, to monitor production and logistics processes in the current mode. Qguar APS allows you to plan production and schedule production orders in such a way that their cumulative lead time is as short as possible. Additionally, the genealogy contains information about the attributes of the article (changes and characteristic parameters) and samples taken for quality control. Using the product genealogy feature, Jacobs Douwe Egberds Polska is able to avoid production losses. Qguar MES allows you to control, plan and test all product quality indicators, as well as record data and generate quality control reports.
Additionally, the system contains a set of reports that reflect the status of key performance indicators in real time. Thanks to the synergy of several Qguar systems, company management can quickly respond to deviations in plans, and see all delays or accelerations on one planning screen. Optimization and preparation of different versions of production plans is no longer a problem for the company today.
